In July 2010 the Institute of Photographic Studies will enter the realm of filmmaking with our first ever workshop focused on video. Join master producer Carl Larsen and IPS Director Rowan Gillson for a week-long introduction to videography. We bring the same intense, practical, hands-on approach to video that you've come to love in our still photography workshops.
We call this workshop an "introduction," because we're covering a broad range of topics, giving students a foundational look at every aspect of telling a story through video. Students should already have a Prizewinning Photography level of understanding of their camera, photography concepts such as white balance and composition, and basic computer competency.

2010 locations are subject to change. But if we have enough students, we'll be there!
