Workshop Venue
Classes and student housing will be hosted by the T-Bar-M Resort and Conference Center. Unique to this location, student housing will be in T-Bar-M bunkhouses. These are high-occupancy, summer-camp style rooms with semi-private bathrooms. Guys and girls will be in separate bunkhouses.
This housing is optional. T-Bar-M offers private rooms at higher rates. These can be reserved through their website. Students are free to arrange their own housing or to commute to the workshop each day. Sessions will run from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. each day.
IPS will be managing the assigning and distribution of rooming assignments. Registration for housing can be done through Will Thornton, as well as any questions or special rooming requests. Students staying over the weekend to participate in both PWP1 and PWP2 will incur an additional $70 charge for the extra night and meals.
Discounts
IPS is currently offering a range of tuition discounts for 2010 workshops.
Some discount restrictions apply. See the fine print for more details.
Transportation at the Workshop
All of our workshops require a great deal of walking, but we will also be using vans or buses to allow students and instructors to reach photo assignments and destinations. Commuting students may need to provide their own transportation to shoot locations.
Airport Shuttles
Our housing is just about 30 minutes from the San Antonio International Airport (SAT). IPS staff will be able to make several trips to the San Antonio airport throughout the day before and after each workshop. Please contact the IPS office with your travel plans and to arrange your shuttle details.
What about the dress code?
In order to maintain professional decorum, workshop attendees are requested to abide by the following guidelines for the duration of the course.
These are not intended to guide your choice of clothing at home, but rather to promote a consistent standard for those attending our workshops.
Special Concerns
We are committed to doing all we can to provide special assistance to anyone needing extra help with the material covered or assistance with the various learning exams given throughout the week. If special consideration is necessary, please contact us as soon as possible.
