IPS's new Design Workshop will start with what you know about photography and what makes a good image, and apply it to the design of a page. Focusing on shape and content, this workshop will combine photography, text, and form to enhance your skills of communication.
Design is not simply the process of making a brochure or a web page look appealing. It's more than that—it is using the art of visual communication to enhance the message of a written one.
Students in this workshop will begin with their own passions and their own projects, receiving personal instruction on the designs, styles, and concepts that interest them most.

Workshop Overview
This course is especially recommended for artists who have a firm understanding of photographic principles and wish to apply it to the world of design. During the week instructors will cover aspects of establishing a design studio as well.
