Prizewinning Photography is a week-long workshop in the fundamentals of photography. Starting with basics such as what a camera is and how it works, we daily build to more and more advanced concepts such as lighting, exposure, and portraiture through hands-on experience and individualized instruction by qualified photographers.

Students of the Design Workshop must be at least sixteen years of age and have graduated from Prizewinning Photography at least 2 months before taking this course. The following gear is also required:
In PWPII, you discover basic digital workflow, web publishing, and software applications with Photoshop Lightroom and Photoshop Elements.
The Design Workshop is unapologetically advanced, and we build upon, then blow past, the digital concepts and skills taught in PWP2. PWP2 is not a prerequisite for the Design Workshop, but the skills of PWP2 are. The most important requirements are computer skills and a working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or Elements.
